Boarding at the address are John Scott (26), John Shaw (19) and Margaret Burns (15). 1911 Census - The Burdekin family lived at 139, Boundary Road, St Helens. William (53) was a German-born Chemical Engineer and had been married to Charlotte for 22 years. They had 5 sons and 2 daughters living with them, including Claude (18), a Pawnbroker.
