1891 - 7 years old Michael is living at 11 Barracks, Gerard Street, St Helens with parents Michael (49), Sarah (52) and sister Sarah (22) His nephew Thomas A Sherdan (3) is also at the address. 1901 - 17 years old 'Chemical Labourer' Michael is living at 80 College Street, St Helens, he is staying at the home of uncle William Crinnon (57) and his family: Mary Crinnon (50), Catherine Crinnon (27), William J Crinnon (22), James C Crinnon (20), Margaret Crinnon (17), Annie Crinnon (14) and their niece Mary Jones (16). 1911 - Sees 27 years old 'News Agent' Michael living at 62 Waterloo Road, Widnes with wife of three years Mary (26) and son Robert (10 mths).

Michael (Mick) Collins was Born in Flint but resided and enlisted in St.Helens. He enlisted in July 1916 and went to France in May 1917. He died of wounds at a dressing station on 30.08.1917. Before the War he was a commission agent with Mr Fred Jones hairdresser at College Street (Collins & Jones Agents) He was married and lived at St.Annes Cottages, Laurel Road, St.Helens. At the time of his death he was 33 Years Old.
