Tinsley (20) and Mary Parr (18). 1891 - 10 years old Norman is living at Booths Hall Farm, Boothstown, Lancs with his grandparents Robert Lansdale (81), Elizabeth Lansdale (65), their two daughters Rose Lansdale (38), Emily Lansdale (33), visitor Marica Richardson (57) and servant Eligh A Higginbottom (27). 1901 - 20 years old 'Stock Broker' Norman is boarding at Clevesand(?), St Helens Road, Croydon, Surrey with the Macaldin family. 1911 - Sees 30 years old 'Stock Exchange Clerk' Norman visiting 4 Drayton Court Hotel, The Avenue, West Ealing.

Was in British Columbia at the outbreak of war. Enlisted in the Victoria Fusiliers Oct 1914 - transfered to the 30th Battalion British Columbia Regiment. Came to England in the 1st Contingent. Transfered to the 16th Canadian Scottish, sent to France 26.04.1915. Fought in the 1st Battle of Ypres and Festubert - Killed here whilst making the attack on the 18th of May 1915.
