Terrace, Thatto Heath, St Helens with parents Joseph (47), Mary Ann (44) and six siblings: William (22), Elizabeth (20), Joseph (11), Hannah (9), Ellen (4), Eva (2). 1901 - 14(?) years old 'House Painter' Alfred is living at 88 Nutgrove Road, Thatto Heath, St Helens with widowed father Joseph (51) and five siblings: William (32), Joseph (21), Hannah (19), Ellen (14), Eva (12). 1911 - Not found. He is not living at 34 Gertrude Street, Thatto Heath, St Helens with widowed father and two siblings. He is possibly still serving in the Military after enlisting in 1902 and records show he returned to the United Kingdom on the 15/10/1910.
