1891 census: Charles F Johnson (age 9) is living at 6 Picow Street, Runcorn with father Charles (39, a stonemason), stepmother Elizabeth A (27), siblings John W (13), Elizabeth M (12), Florence G (5), and half-brother David S (3 months). 1901 census: Charles Frederick Johnson (age 19, a stonemason) is a boarder at 127 Nutgrove Road, St Helens, the home of John and Maria Littler. 1911 census: Charles F Johnson (age 29, a stonemason) is living at 25 Orrell Street, St Helens with his wife of one year, Mary (34), and step-sons Thomas (11) and John Vose (7)


Notes:
Note that while CWGC and SDGW give his name as 'Frederick Charles' this appears to be incorrect, it should be 'Charles Frederick' Enlisted on 25 October 1915, at which time he was living at 92 Traverse Street, St Helens.
