He was entitled to British War Medal and Victory Medal Albert Lonsdale had previously attested as Pte 3669 2/5th South Lancashire Regiment  2 Feb 1914 St Helens. Next of kin mother Jane Lonsdale 10 Gills Yard Iron Street off Church Street, Hunslet. He was living 89 Liverpool Road, St Helens. His embodied service began 13 Feb 1915 and he was finished 8 June 1915 when he was discharged as being permanently unfit for military service
