From the Cowley Schools Roll Of Honour:- 2/lieut William Ronald Ellison. Enlisted August 4th 1914 in the Royal Field Artillery. Died June 20th 1915 of wounds received in the battle of Festubert (May 1915). Was Mentioned in Despatches.
