Attested Dec 1915, aged 18 years 3 months. Joined up May 1916 1/12th Loyal North Lancashire Pioneers Signal Section 4th Reserve L.N.L.R Lichfield Trainning Corps. Granted Commission May 1918. In France as 2nd Lieut, severely wounded at Givenchy. Died same day 1918. Only Son.
