Taken from an article in the St.Helens Newspaper October 1916. "Private Harry Millener, Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, has died of Illness in Hospital in France and official news has been received by his sister Mrs W Frost of 55 Hamer Street. He had been in France for Six weeks. Previous to the war he was an apprentice French Polisher at Mr J Smith's in Shaw Street. He belonged to the Boys Brigade in Brook Street.
