On the night of the 28-29 July 1942 Wellington 111 (Z1650) took off at 2245 Hours from RAF Feltwell in Norfolk. 57 Squadron was on an operational bombing mission to attack the port of Hamburg. There are no official records which confirm why or how the Aircraft was lost but the aircraft came down with the loss of all 6 Crew Members. [b]Air Crew[/b] [color=#282828]F/L. J A.
